I’m not if it’s fair to say that I hate Metallica but playing Guitar Hero 3 on medium makes me wanna trash the controller into thousand little pieces. One is a song just too damn difficult for my fingers and almost old people like speed :p . Hate that song!

Okay. This is about first and last time I’ll praise PvP – The Daily Web Comic Strip (otherwise there wouldn’t be end for my praises). It is created by Scott Kurzt and the strip is just awesome. The strip has been developed as a separate animation, there are several podcasts concentrated for things around the strip, webcomics and all fun stuff in life.
Kurtz’s partner in crime is Kristofer Straub creator of Starslip Crisis another great webcomic. Collaborating in those several podcasts and PvP animation in the Halfpixel office they have created a world of fun for me and many many others and continue doing it. I just hope Kris & Scott don’t burn themselves up doing these sideprojects. There are so many of them that it’s hard to keep up with them.
Latest sideproject is Kurt’z podcast Webcomics Confidential. Very good and informative podcast he is planning to do weekly (hopefully this stays true but I do understand if not) and in episode #1 he’s chatting Tyler Martin creator of Wally and Osborne webcomic. There’s also lots of talking about ComicPress, a cool WordPress theme designed for publishing comics in the internet and in the WordPress blogs etc. – check it out.
Conclusion? Yes, do read PvP, at least go check it out, listen their podcasts and support the animation if you can – I guarantee you’ll be in the world of Fun after doing this. I just hope these guys keep doing the thing they do, enjoy doing it and keeping us entertained and not bury themselves to all these sideprojects which keep popping up every once in a while.

I have had favourites before among the X-Men like everyone who’s read the comic’s or watched the movie’s. I liked Wolverine and Cyclops before but the issues 471, 475 to 477 of The Uncanny X-Men made me realize that I totally LOVE Rachel Grey and Warpath. They are so damn cool and brought to you mainly by Chris Claremont, Billy Tan and Danny Miki.
Bought the X-Men issue today (it has The Uncanny X-Men issues 471, 475-477 in it) and I also bought a new Spider-Man which had the issues 535 and 536 of The Amazing Spider-Man. Amazing cover and stories are drawn by Ron Garney, inked by Bill Reinhold and coloured by Matt Milla. IT’S CIVIL WAR!!! Most greatest storyline I have ever read anywhere in comics!
I’ll scan the covers of both X-Men and Spider-Man when I have the time. Now I’ll go to sauna.
