PvP and many projects

Okay. This is about first and last time I’ll praise PvP – The Daily Web Comic Strip (otherwise there wouldn’t be end for my praises). It is created by Scott Kurzt and the strip is just awesome. The strip has been developed as a separate animation, there are several podcasts concentrated for things around the strip, webcomics and all fun stuff in life.

Kurtz’s partner in crime is Kristofer Straub creator of Starslip Crisis another great webcomic. Collaborating in those several podcasts and PvP animation in the Halfpixel office they have created a world of fun for me and many many others and continue doing it. I just hope Kris & Scott don’t burn themselves up doing these sideprojects. There are so many of them that it’s hard to keep up with them.

wc.jpgLatest sideproject is Kurt’z podcast Webcomics Confidential. Very good and informative podcast he is planning to do weekly (hopefully this stays true but I do understand if not) and in episode #1 he’s chatting Tyler Martin creator of Wally and Osborne webcomic. There’s also lots of talking about ComicPress, a cool WordPress theme designed for publishing comics in the internet and in the WordPress blogs etc. – check it out.

Conclusion? Yes, do read PvP, at least go check it out, listen their podcasts and support the animation if you can – I guarantee you’ll be in the world of Fun after doing this. I just hope these guys keep doing the thing they do, enjoy doing it and keeping us entertained and not bury themselves to all these sideprojects which keep popping up every once in a while.

DeviantART links #1

I just had to write down these links in my first “linky linky” post. So, I give you three links to very special devianArt-galleries. I have bumped into these guys while listening podcasts and stuff. They are comic book artists and pretty damn easy going people. I love ‘em man!

Mark Brooks. He is a professional comic book artist working for Marvel comics. Anthony Harris has one cool gallery, too. We are never going to forget how cool Tim Fischer’s art is in his gallery. You can also bump into these guys in Bigfanboy Livecast or The Amateur Hour OR Latenight Lounge. At least go and drop by to Mark’s, Tim’s and Anthony’s galleries.
