Silent times stops now

I’ts been a slow start. Starting today, there will be updates on, if not every day, at least there’ll be every other day something to post about. I have been busy working and while not working I usually been sleeping or reading… now I have gotten myself a schedule for working on my comic-project.

Those who have followed my dA-page know about this already and you are going to find out soon enough some more details.

I do have some exciting content to provide soon too. Interviews of webcomic artists! Sketches! Podcast stuff and some important news too. Just wait 1-2 days and it’ll come to you!

Calm before storm

Haven’t been blogging in a while and there’s a reason for it. I have been super-busy making some new stuff to be published later. I have been designing a tattoo for my cousin, making character sheets & background stuff for my upcoming project I’m not telling you fellows too much at the moment because it might fall apart any moment. It’s like badly built house of cards I have been thinking doing my own “official” podcast on Talkshoe.com but it’s too early to speak about that either.

Well, maybe I’ll put some art up tomorrow… you’ll never know.

First two sketches of the year 2008

Okay. This 1st one is called Nightcrawler. He’s part of X-Men universe and I think if you have seen the X-Men movies at least you might remember this character. Second one (being lazy, I portrayed only torso, hands and head ) is Vulcan. Also known as Gabriel Summers. This bad guy is also part of X-Men universe. Both are also (as all X-Men) part of Marvel.

 

 

Tattoo for my cousin

Okay.

My first real “art-job”. Commission, baby! I gotta design a HUGE tattoo for my cousin. There must be certain elements and subject is, believe it or not, Manowar. I don’t mean that warship Man of war (often mistaken for ) BUT one of the hardest working heavy metal bands in the world. If you have ever heard terms like “true metal” or “metal warriors”; it’s by them. Cool band and my cousin is crazy for their music and attitude :p

So, I shall put everything else a side and start doing it. Tomorrow. Today I have to finish my second Iron Man colouring and do some x-men sketches

Pandas? No, but I have Bamboo!

Well, it was a BIG  surprise for me to find Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet among my Christmas gifts. This  was a huge thing for me and almost got me in tears in front of my family. I have had an old Aiptek tablet but it’s old and not working properly. This one on the other hand works like a charm. I just plugged it in, installed the drivers and that was it. I have never done anything so easily… thank you mom.. erhm… Santa for this awesome tablet

Special thanks for my brother who got me decent sketch book and lots of drawing equipment. I’m truly thankful man!

Santa also got me South Park (season 1 and 2) DVD box-sets & lots of candy, cool bag to carry stuff and few clothes. Now I’ll go eat some more meat and bread with milk and collapse into my bed after my stomach bursts I’ll write you some more tomorrow.

Yeah, sorry for lack of updates this week. I have been working and continue working on weekdays and after 8 hours of work and about 2.5 hours of driving per day really makes you tired.

I’m trying to make some sketches this weekend. Write some stuff here. I have some news for you and great stuff is coming up. Remember it’s only 24 days for x-mas and six days for Finland’s independence day

Early “IT’S HAPPENING!!!OHMYGOD!!!” news

Howdy.

I just got an email reply from Daniel Dociu himself that I can indeed interview him. Interview is happening via Talkshoe ’cause that’s what he wants to use even he hasn’t used it before but he said he should figure it out somehow. So, when December is here interview grows closer and closer.

I have kept this secret ’cause there’s no reason to reveal things that might not be happening at all but heck… this is happening people!

If you don’t know this person? Romanian-born concept-artist Daniel Dociu? In a nutshell I can tell you that he is an art director at ArenaNet. He’s involved in games like GuildWars and Half-Life 2.

1st snow is/was here!!!

Again. History in the making fellows! When I woke up today to face the Saturday I saw it. Snow. Just a little bit BUT enough to make a snowball.
